DURABLE PROTECTION FOR WOOD AND PARQUET FLOORS

K1 Silk Matt Parquet Varnish is a water-based sealant for wooden and parquet floors indoors. The single-component, ready-to-use formulation allows for easy application and provides a hard-wearing surface for daily use.

SILK MATT SURFACE WITH A NATURAL LOOK

The silk matt sealant gives the wood an elegant, natural look with a subtle sheen. The wood grain is accentuated without appearing artificial.

NON-YELLOWING AND COLOR-STABLE

Thanks to its water-based composition, the wood remains color-stable over time. Yellowing is avoided under normal use.

HIGH DURABILITY

The surface is particularly resistant to abrasion, scratches, and daily wear and tear – ideal for heavily used areas.

SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT APPLICATION

The varnish can be easily applied with a roller, ensuring an even finish without visible marks. Quick drying allows for efficient work and swift use of the area.

IDEAL FOR RENOVATION AND NEW SEALING

Suitable for refreshing existing floors as well as for the initial sealing of parquet, floorboards, and wooden floors.

APPLICATION

Prepare the substrate by cleaning, drying, and sanding it. Apply the varnish evenly with a roller. For optimal results, two to three coats are recommended. Allow a drying time of approximately 6 to 8 hours between coats. Sand lightly between coats if necessary.

The surface can be carefully walked on after approximately 24 hours and is fully loadable after complete curing.
